Of course not! It was directed at the guy who came up with "besito mi asno".
Your Verdurian is fine, and indeed improving. The army story is quite understandable-- the things to watch out for are a) cases, especially for adjectives, and b) relative pronouns: kio has no plural, and once you used kiel 'how' for ke 'who'.
