Non-Proto-Western classical words

Hi everybody!

A question: we know that not all Cuêzi and/or Cadhinor (and/or Axunashin, or etc) words can be traced back to Proto-Eastern. And the other words, where do they come from, or how did they appear on the languages? Are they borrowed or simple created? What would be the "explanation" for that happening?

Cheers,
Gustavo Pereira

I'll just note here that the same question applies to Indo-European linguistics... e.g. where did all the Germanic words that can't be traced back to IE come from?
